Falmouth

The layout dates from the mid fifties and an explanation is attached in the shape of an article from the Railway Modeller of September 1957.

"The Falmouth club has been hard at work on an accurate model of its local station, complete with its fine Brunel-type timber roof. Just as the model reached completion the Western Region decided to modernize the station and replaced this magnificent structure with the more utilitarian concrete awnings favoured today, and sadly the club set about replacing the glorious structure seen in the photograph to bring its model up to date."
